School Site Council

The School Site Council is a group of elected parents, teachers, and administrators who work to develop curriculum and implement the school's state-mandated and approved Site Improvement Plan (SIP).

The SIP program provides additional funds to be used to maintain a quality program in our school. To receive these funds, the council meets regularly to discuss, evaluate, and monitor our program. For more information about the Site Council, contact the school office.

The goals of the Site Council include:

  • Reviewing, revising, and assessing the school plan and determining action priorities
  • Establishing the annual SIP budget
  • Investigating parent concerns/issues
  • Promoting communication throughout the school community
