Vallecito Children's Center

The City of San Rafael Community Services division offers on-site child care at the Vallecito Children's Center. Participation is at the parent's expense (although subsidized), and requires pre-registration. Space is limited and is always in great demand.

Kindergarten Aftercare: 1:25 pm - 2:35 pm *

After School: 2:35 pm - 6:30 pm *

* - Kindergarten and after school care begin immediately after kindergarten/school on early release days.

Summer Camp

We offer an all-day summer camp that is open to children kindergarten age and up. Highlights include daily activities, weekly trips to a local swimming pool, and field trips to attractions like Six Flags Discovery Kingdom, Angel Island, and House of Air.
